Quote Of the Moment

The backdrop: Senator Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts has been calling for the resignation of House speaker Dennis Hastert in lieu of his alleged cover-up of the Rep. Foley sex scandal.

Rep. Christopher Shays of Connecticut, referring to Chappaquiddick, the 1969 incident in which Senator Ted Kennedy's car ran off a Massachusetts bridge, killing his passenger, Mary Jo Kopechne, said "I know the speaker didn't go over a bridge and leave a young person in the water, and then have a press conference the next day."

Can we get a "Oh, no you didn't!" from the gallery? Perhaps a "You did not just go there"?
